Störende Bewegungen werden dank des Direct Drive SSM minimiert. Die ED-Elemente sowie ein XA-Element sorgen für eine hohe Auflösung. Die Nanobeschichtung reduziert unerwünschte Licht- und Geistereffekte. Das Objektiv ist feuchtigkeits- sowie staubgeschützt und ist für Vollformat E-Mount Kameras geeignet.
