Academy Award Nominations: 3, including Best Original Screenplay. Director John Lasseter also won a Special Achievement Academy Award for the film.

Great Teacher Distraction
Once in awhile an 8th grade class needs a moment of rest. Being a student is a job, especially a good student. This harmless movie, with many messages, provides a great moment of respite.
