Lichdom: Battlemage aims to combine the uptempo action of first-person shooters with the loot, leveling, and spellcasting of fantasy RPGs. Players take on the role of The Dragon, and they can choose to be either female or male, with their decision slightly altering the game's story. Both plot lines find gamers tracking down the evil overlord Shax, gaining unlimited magical powers, and being helped by a scout known as The Gryphon. There are eight different elemental forms of magic, with players wielding any three at a time, and thousands of different spells to craft and cast.

    Wondering why only one person has reviewed this game?

    Me, too. I've only just started playing, but it's okay. I spent 11 bucks and so far I think it's worth that, but no more. The movements are jumpy/choppy like it's an old game character placed inside a new game. The graphics aren't bad but for PS4 quality, they fall short of what I expected. The battles are basically the same over and over sort of thing. I have yet to fully understand how to create new spells and such - the instructions aren't clear at all - but, over all, and considering I didn't spent much for it, I think it's an interesting game. Kind of a mage side quest from Skyrim without the graphics clarity although, the creators of Lichdom CAN do thumbs that actually look like thumbs. Take that Bethesda! ha ha I played it for three hours and haven't been able to get back ...

    Disappointing.... 😞

    Very disheartening that a developer would release a game that is this Unpolished and basically Not Finished....I was so excited for a first person mage game but is just a Big Let Down...

    the game unplayable!

    the game doesnt work, the frame rate very low and makes the game unplayable, the gameplay and graphic are very bad too. P.S - but it works fine on ps5.
