    A Great Read

    This book by David McCullough tells the comprehensive story of the construction of the Panama Canal. Full of interesting details which don’t get in the way of the flow of events. A great read.

    Path Between the Seas

    David McCullough is a wonderful writer. It's no wonder he's won the Pulitzer Prize. He has the rare knack of taking complicated events and reducing to the essence of why they're important. It all follows logically. He's a great storyteller. It's a real page-turner!

    A Nice Spring Reading

    This is a book anyone can read without tiring, becoming bored or is full of technical terms. After buying this pre-owned copy, I searched online for a trade paper new copy. It wasn't available. I put in a cover, and am still reading it a little bit each day after work. For the average reader, this is a books that is fluid, light, accurate, and enjoyable.

    Great history

    The Panama Canal should be rated as the eighth wonder of the world. Reading this amazing book portrays all that went on to build this canal. Perhaps without the canal we might not have been able to win the second world war. Just my thought. It’s an amazing book and I recommend it for all history buffs. I’ve read it twice.
