Does the job
Seems well constructed and VHS-C cassettes fit into it well and being motorised helps with the process too. However, my VHS player refused to eject it after a few uses and I had to dismantle the VHS player and fiddle and mess about to free it up without damaging the tape. A small lip on the front of the adapter seems to have caught on the VHS mechanism. However, I have used it again after dismantling the VHS and it seems to be working again - so would just suggest being very careful about making sure that the VHS-C cassette is soundly clicked into this carrier before putting it into your VHS.

Excellent unit
I have been unable to watch my old VHC tapes as the camera is defunct. Bought this and now I can brilliant. Very easy to use and Highly recommended !!!

It is so simple to use
This product is just what was needed for vhs-c playback on a video player. Yes I still have one and it records to DVD too. Which is why I wanted to be able to playback and record tapes from the 1980's unseen until now. Saved a fortune on taking to a shop to get the first ones put on DVD. I wish I had thought of looking for this sooner.

Excellent item, enabled me to watch some old camcorder tapes from 30 years ago with my daughter,without the expense of having them converted to dvd.

Works exactly as advertised
Good, sound purchase. Arrived sooner than expected. Easy to use. Does the job great, playing my very old VHS-C tapes.

It works
I bought an adapter from Amazon which I returned because, despite mostly good reviews, it would only play the tape for a few seconds before jamming. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a problem with many 3rd party replacement adapters, so I was worried that, if I couldn't find one that worked, my collection of home movies would be unplayable. After looking at more reviews, I took a chance on the Konig and I am pleased to say it worked perfectly. It is lighter and not as sturdy as the original JVC adapter but I only need it to work long enough to transfer the tapes to DVD or a PC. The original adapter had stopped working because the battery terminals were corroded due to the batteries being left in for years unused. However I have since cleaned the terminals using a combination of white vinegar, abrasive pads and scraping with a small screwdriver and after a few tries it worked, so I now have contingency if either the JVC or Konig fail in the future.

Well pleased.
Could not get my camcorder to power up. All my video tapes had valuable footage on them, but had no way to view them or copy them on to DVD. Then I saw this product and it saved the day. Inserted the batteries (they just wind the tape into the mechanism) - popped it into my VCR and it played my tapes just as if it was a normal sized VHS tape.

Great product
It works fine despite being slightly lighter weight than my original (28 years old) one, which I’ve misplaced. I recommend this product.

Works well
Using with Panasonic FS88 VHS player & MacMini. Definitely view the tutorial before using, setting up can be tricky.
