Spelling Bee Reward
I bought this as a reward for the great job my 8 year old grandson did in his school spelling bee. He and his 5 year old brother love it. The boys have 5 other Hess trucks so I knew the quality would be excellent.

Batteries
I liked the truck and the price as well as the quality was good but the batteries had burst and had covered and corroded the inner spring and I didn't think I could get the two separated! The truck was the 1999 edition and should have had the batteries removed.

Happy Ending
I have two young grandsons and gave them my Hess Truck with Space Shuttle for Christmas. Unfortunately they had to take turns playing with it. Now they will each have their own. This truck is in mint condition the same as the one I gave them so there won't be any fighting over which one is newer. Thank you so much .

Wish new toys were made this well
This truck was sent to me quickly. The truck looks brand new, including the box. Never would know the truck is older than 20 years. My grandsons age 3 1/2 and 2 play for hours.

Excellent Quality Toys
So many of these are available on eBay as collectibles - but many are still a good enough value to purchase as toys for your kids to enjoy. We purchase them for our son to enjoy as a really good quality toy.
