Excellent burn. Using as a reference disc for 4K settings and comparisons.
In a perfect world, all 4K factory burns would be equal. Not a perfect world. This disc is easily one of the better burns; exceptional picture quality AND sound quality. As a plus, it is a Dolby Vision disc. Highest recommendation. Oh, and the story is both involving, plausible (except perhaps for gale-strength martian sandstorms) and humorous. Nice HDR DVD
I've enjoyed watching Matt Damon in many of his movies and that includes "The Martian" also. Good cast of actors/actresses who help keep it interesting. Putting yourself in Matt's place being "stuck" on Mars helps you feel anxious to see just how he and the NASA people + his crew are going to rescue him and bring him home. I enjoyed the suspense and the pace of this movie. Glad I bought it to watch on our 4K HDR TV and would recommend it to others if you haven't seen it yet.
