well-built world with characters that resonate
This is the first in a trilogy - you need the whole set to really appreciate the brilliance of this created world. A well-built world with characters who face real-world and fantasy world issues with courage and gumption. Who have doubts, fears, hopes and dreams just like all of us. The story holds together well.
