Excellent set up (when used with 512GW Front Camera) and very easy to use
Having already bought the 512GW front camera I decided to buy the 512GWRC as it links direct to the front camera sharing the power source and memory card. The images/videos are very stable and good quality. They also are linked between the front and rear camera which means no time alignment issues (saves time if an accident happens). The WiFi function also means you can send the file direct to a phone or PC. The rear camera image can be shown as a picture in picture or as a reversing camera (this is done by pressing the "mode" button whilst both cameras are recording). Good
This camera simply connects into the top of your 512GW front camera with the lead provided. I just feel this would have been better if it fed into the power feed on the windscreen mount (for those who remove their dashcam when it's on your driveway). Sticky pad wouldn't adhere to in-car plastics, so had to drill & self-tap it Other than that, everything else is 5 star. Great camera & long lead. great rear cam worth every penny!
It is a really good rear camera for the Next base dash cam the video is crisp and almost as good as the dash cam itself the only downside is the sticky attachment isn't good enough for me as it will not hold on my vehicle but that might just be my problem . Superb what more can I say?
Very small and neat camera that totally compliments the 512GW. Once firmware is updated it’s simply plug and play. Robust cable of ample length for most cars I would imagine although mine is a Yaris so I had a fair bit to hide away. I am very pleased with the image even through the darkest legal tint I have in the rear... not too sure on night time recording but I’m certain it would add an extra level of evidence even if only to show headlights of the car behind. Great value

Wire in wireless age
I've given 5* whereas did not like the 6m cable to install in XXI century. But the quality of camera is very good. Now I am pleased with it. Gives me very clear, sharp, colorful 1920x1080 30 f/s MOV files with good sound. Working perfectly since I had installed. Last months the price went down from £ 55-60 below £ 30 so I completed my 512GW front cam with this. When I used only the front cam it gave me FHD 60 fps video but now the duo pack set themselves back to FHD 30 fps automatically. The base can use 128GB card which is nice.
