Buy it. You'll love it.
This is a well built knife. It carries like a smaller knife, despite being pretty big, thanks to its relatively slim profile. Came razor sharp from the factory. The DLC coating on the blade is beautiful. Looks almost like deep gun bluing. Since buying this knife, it has been my everyday carry. It kicked a Böker Plus Caracal, a Steel Will Cutjack (M390 version), and a ZT0350 out of my pocket. I cut cardboard, and zip ties at work on a regular basis, and this knife handles those demands with ease.

As close to perfect as a Tac Knife gets
It needs no improvements. When I received it and worked with it, I usually would “wish” it had this or had that…but not this knife. It’s as close to perfect as it gets. I have a SOG blade that looks virtually the same. When you hold the two knives in your hands, the SOG was considerably beefier. But the Recon held its own with no problem.

A modern pocket knife
Good grip for large hands, durable steel, good sharp edge. Blade locks very well and doesn't move. bit large for pocket carry. Second pocket clip for best fit is convenient.

Defective unit
Impossible to push down the lock bar, I've got strong fingers, gritty. The blade will not flip probably the excess pressure from the lock bar. Returning it for one not defective.

THIS KNIFE WILL SLICE REAL GOOD, FOR REAL
This bad motherslapper is scary sharp!!! I whip it this THANG out and I'm like "That's not a knoif! THIS is a knoif!!!" I swear, it's terrifying. With the clip, it sits perfectly in my big @$$ jeans as an EDC. The only thing I'm not a fan of, is the G-10 is VERY abrasive. Yeah, ok, it's non-slip and good for wet hands (cuz my hands always be wet, y'all), but damn. It's like sandpaper and I'm afraid it's eventually going to wear through my big @$$ jeans, y'all. IN CONCLUSION: if your main goal is to cut the hell out stuff efficiently, and with ease, this is your knife. If you like to keep your hands wet as HECK ALL THE TIME, this is your knife. You can probably shave a beard off with this knife. Also, if you're interested in some hilarious knife hi-jinks, check out the Cold Steel YouTube channel. They straight up put these knives through HELL.
