Best Black History Lesson Ever!
This is the best Black History lesson ever because it has universal application to everyone’s life no matter what your ethnicity or life circumstances. An enslaved Pastor was able to tell Howard Thurman’s enslaved great grandmother: You’re not a slave, you’re not the bad names you are called. You are a child of God. Any mistreated person can find the inner strength to overcome abuse in this book. Love it. Heard about it on PBS Howard Thurman documentary.
