Charming historical visit
Every bit as naive and charming as I recall from the mid 1970s, this revisit to my youth is well worth the money spent. Bill Bixby performs beautifully the caring, talented magician (despite the character's change of name between the pilot and the rest of the series) and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole set. It definitely stretches "willing suspension of disbelief", and there are continuity issues (he was living in a plane, then for no evident reason & with no explanation, he lives in a penthouse above a magic performance venue) but still absolutely delightful to watch minimally violent solutions to crimes encased in well performed magic.

a great series at a great price
Bill Bixby at his best this series is wonderfully acted beautifully shot and extremely well written that Bill Bixby did his own magic tricks is an added bonus another reason to appreciate this marvelous actor he is sorely missed

DEFECTIVE DISCS
The last few episodes of this series on each disc are of poor quality, kept skipping/freezing/jumping. This was upsetting as I really liked the few episodes I was able to watch.

Good quality product.
Excellent quality as expected, since it was rated as new sealed! It brought back memories from the 70's when i was a kid, since this series was broadcasted from the national channel here in Cyprus in black and white then!

A very entertaining tv series.
A very entertaining tv series. I have been Looking for it on dvd for a long time. I would recommend it.

The Magician

Not as good as I remembered.
It was good to see this tv show after so many years, However, it doesn't compare to today's drama programs as the stunts aren't as good.

Fun, interesting and entertainment for the whole family.
saw a few episodes on you tube and liked better than his Hulk series and not disappointed with the short series.
