works perfect
got this when mom came home from rehab on a bad hip. She can get off the toilet much easier now and it does not slip and slide. I did not want one that had side handles as she uses a walker. This one is perfect. She just backs up the walker sits and walla, does her stuff and can get up very easy. This is very well constructed. It is a molder plastic. It is easy to clean with sani wipes or toliet brush. The only thing that I would say could be a bit of a problem for someone is the hole is a lot smaller than your current toilet seat. So that is something you need to adjust your position for. Other than that this is the best height that I could find and made well for the money.

Not Really Elongated
Before you purchase this elongated medical riser, be careful to measure your toilet bowl opening and compare this measurement to the dimensions of this riser. I have a elongated toilet, for which I had previously purchased an elongated toilet seat, which toilet seat fits perfectly. I gave no thought to having to measure this opening before ordering this medical riser. The medical riser fell far short of being elongated and because of this slips around when used. Truly hazardous. The two pieces of tape or whatever it is which are supposed to help secure it, do nothing to keep it stable. At first I thought I was shipped the wrong item, checked the box and it definitely stated elongated medical riser. Another thing, padded? Totally blown plastic or whatever. Saw no padding.

No installation. Great!
No need to install. Just lift both seats and set right in. Stable. Great for temporary use after surgery due to no need to install.

Minimal intrusion, easy to install/uninstall
You can use it with little installation, no tools. It is lightweight, sturdy, easily washable, and inexpensive.

Sitting comfy at last
I have had multiple joint problems with joint replacements over many years. So I have used many different raised toilet seats over the years. This one is the toughest I have found. Sturdy, comfortable and built to last. I am in no way a small person, size 24 women's jeans, honest. I have used it a couple of months, its grea, easy to clean, tough sturdy and it really fits on the commode. Great, just great.

well built, arrived fast, big help.
This seat is just a great help when the legs dont work well anymore, the only thing for me is at 250 it just doestn fit enough of me if u understand.

Perfect item
Exactly what I wanted. It fits snug, doesn't slide around. It's light weight and is easy to use. I injured my knees and seat is great, it's enabled me to get up and down off the toilet without knee pain. Definitely recommend this product.
