Great Edition of a Classic
This is a classic '60s film, by cinematographer/director Haskell Wexler, who shot some of the most important movies of the period. Part documentary and part reality-based fiction, the film sets a character-driven plot against the turbulence of the 1968 Chicago Democratic convention. In the year of Donald Trump, "Medium Cool" has a special resonance for this child of the Sixties.
