  • New edition not an improvement over previous editions.

I have been using edition 4 by Tim Neely. I found it to be good. My only complaint was that there were a lot of older and less known records/artists that were not listed. I bought edition 7 by Martin Popoff assuming it would be identical to the previous book by Neely but with the added listings I needed. The new book by Popoff has lots of added listing but they are mostly newer artists I have no interest in. My biggest complaint is that many artists I collect that are listed in the previous editions have been left out of this book. I'm going to go back to my old book and burn this one. Thanks a lot Mr. Popoff. If I had paid retail for this book I would demand my money back.

  • Timeless reference guide

Book is old but has a lot of good reference information. I use it alot to get information on all the 45's I buy.
