A 2-line wireless phone, the Panasonic KX-TGA270 uses 2.4 GHz frequency and is equipped with FHSS (Frequency Hopping Digital Spread Spectrum) technology, to afford good quality reception even at a substantial distance from the base with zero-interference. Besides being a wireless phone, the Panasonic KX-TGA270 also features call waiting, caller ID and intercom facility. Panasonic KX-TGA270 phones offer 4-way conference call capability and powerful speakerphones for good quality listening and talking. The backlit LCD display makes it easy to dial even in the dark and this wireless phone can also be wall mounted. The Panasonic KX-TGA270 has a battery talk time of 270 hours, and a standby time of 264 hours eliminating the hassle of constant recharging.

Up to eight handsets with one base using one phone plug-in
I have used these phones for at least twelve years with excellent service. I use the entire set of eight with daily use and use the two line capability. I have just now needed to replace two of the handsets because of extensive ware. I have never had a personal phone system lasting this long with only the seldom need of a battery change.
