All-time favorite of this teacher, bar none!
Best study Bible I've found in 33 years of walking with Jesus and leading studies; breaks my heart that it's out of print and the publisher won't reconsider. New Century Version is a solid translation in simple and readable English. The thematic index, study notes and chain references are excellent, well-rounded without being overwhelming to new readers, and without heavy denominational leanings in any particular direction. The Bible was published in three editions, different ISBN numbers, but identical content, which means one can use page numbers in the classroom. I hesitate to publish this review even now, because I'm always on the lookout for unmarked editions myself to gift new Christians. Let's begin a letter/e-mail campaign to convince the publishers that we want and will support a new printing of this Bible!
