In its original form it used a 918cc side valve engine and its headlights were mounted low in the grille.

Corgi Keeping History in Focus,
Corgi's range of 60th Anniversary models are not just items that look good on any shelf with stack loads of detail but also a moment of history captured. While this Moris Minor may not win the car with the best looks it does speaks volumes of British manufacturing in the 40's after WW2. Produced in 1948 this hardy car was popular to the tune of 1.3 million being made from 1948 to 1972. The model is in 1:43 scale and comes in an attractive 60th Anniversary Box that links back to when Corgi first started. It feels solid and the detail is perfect. It captures all the aspect of the original life size model and if you love cars of the past then this is a model you will likely want. Corgi have produced only 5000 of these worldwide so its a small number given the worlds population and numbers of model car collectors.
