First Time User
Had it now for several weeks and have been playing around with it. Never had a DSLR camera before and I am learning allot the more I use it. There are many variables and that alone makes it fun trying to get the shot I want. I like having the option of using settings I chose and not have it in auto all the time. Plus it's nice getting shots in low light, and having them turn out like the room is lite up. If you want a camera you can just point and shoot, I would recommend a cheaper camera. If you like controlling the camera and trying to get that unique shot then this is a great camera. I love it and would buy it again.

Good value. Good package. Great company to do business with.
A lot more camera than what I thought it would be. Far cry away from my old film camera's and will take time to learn the advanced features. BUT, the auto functions are fantastic. IMHO, a hobby shooter will be pleased. LOVE the zoom lens that came with it. The only thing that I would change is the size of the camera bag. But then one can always get a larger one on eBay or at a garage sale. Not my first rodeo with a factory refurbished item. That saves a LOT of money.

Great Camera .. and LOVE Nikon
The D3400 Nikon camera is great for the intended purpose to have of great camera for beginning photography. I wanted the the D3400 over the newer D3500. And had to contact Nikon support for assistance with the Snapbridge. And wow Nikon has the most amazing support. (Not the.... DUE To HIGH Call Volumes... blah .. blah..) A real person answers the phone and had a great experience as he helped me solve the issue.. simply amazing... Cannot say enough. LOVE Nikon

Great Pictures
The Camera is easy to use and was in great shape. I received it timely and was very satisfied with the online support provided by Nikon. I did not realize the camera came without an external audio port, however every other feature was as advertised

Easy to use and cool features.
Easy to set up and I love that my photos now go automatically to my iPhone. I am not a professional photographer but I love to take pictures when we travel and make them into books for my friends that traveled with me. This camera is lighter than my previous camera and has neat blue tooth bells and whistles.

Great first DSLR camera
Easy to use. Great first DSLR camera. There's enough automatic features for a newbie like me, but with a little exploration, you can also use the camera in manual mode. I'm enjoying the camera already! The image quality is excellent and the two lenses adds so much flexibility.

Camera and lenses.
The camera and wide angle lens arrived in genuine Nikon packaging. The telephoto lens was in a plain box with no documentation. Serial numbers were all accepted by Nikon product registration, so I guess that's good. The rest of these items, not so good, inferior quality. Good price.

"Great Camera,better than film"
This Nikon camera is light weight,has plenty of useful features,and takes great photos.Having the two lenses gives me all the flexability I need to shoot a wide range of subjects.

The Perfect Camera
I had been using a Nikon Coolpix P100 fro years and really liked the quality and ease of us but was ready to step up to a camera with more megapixels and optional lens. My brother in law has Nikon D90 that capture beautiful quality images. After shopping around and reading the review I decided on the D3400. They sell new for $600.00 at Costco plus about &50.00 in taxes so buying a reconditioned one for &399.00 was a no brainer. I am enjoying learning to use this camera. The online manuals are very easy to understand and the options you have are mind blowing. I couldn't be more pleased.

Outstanding value!
Great value for the price. Easy to use and great photos. The only problem is that the battery charger does not blink green once the battery id fully charged. The red light (not charged) stays on even after the battery is charged.
