D&D Player's Handbook II
A wonderful addition to the core materials, the second player's handbook expands player's choices for character background and motivation. The Beguiler class and Polymorph subschool are nice, in addition to the new spells and feats listed. The back of the book contains a collection of pages that greatly assist in quick npc creation, meaning the DM can focus more on the story and not the loadout. There is also a great new collection of Teamwork based combat skills and benefits, making coordination even more beneficial during a fight. What I needed, with one small nice surprise.
