    I have several Jacques Pepin cookbooks and I love his books and videos. But this book tops them all. In words and pictures, Jacques guides you through tons of techniques and tips. Just a quick perusal of this book will make you better in your kitchen. It's best not to try to read it all at once, but use it as a reference when you want to know the best approach to the tasks you need to complete to make your favorite dishes or expand to new recipes.
