Too flimsy, do not recommend unless you are ready to make some improvements yourself
Some of the reviews says it is good American quality. Well I completely disagree. The most important - two parts - front and back are connected with cylindrical rods (shiny ones on the photo). These rods are loose in their bushings and there is nothing I can do to make a connection between two parts of this apparatus solid. It comes with a level to help setting the level of the whole system correctly. But it useless. Yes I can set the level of one piece but then the other flexes. Also it is too light to keep the hole piece from moving while shooting. I expected that but I could not expect that it not only could move as whole piece, but different parts of it will move relatively to each other. Well I think it is a good set of parts that can work well with some modification.

Built like a tank
Construction of this unit is pure American quality. This model if very specific to be used as a sighting system for red dot optics. It is not intended for any other uses such as a pistol shooting rest.

Good value, works, could be improved
Manufacturing tolerances could be a little tighter to improve stability, but a decent tool for the price and its intended application. One improvement that could be made (but would certainly add cost) is the addition of a left/right swivel and a small level on the grip clamp portion to correct for cant errors. Probably not needed for most users, but would be useful for serious competition shooters.

Probably good, but not for me
I've never used one of these before. I thought it would clamp the gun while I fired it. The instructions said not to clamp the gun while firing, as it may cause damage to the vise. I didn't find this helpful in sighting, but this was my first. It seems to be a good tool, for those more familiar with it.

not ready for prime time
to much play in plastic bushings. made precision sighting in your handgun impossible. cant really shoot from the rest with any effective technique.

It works for me.
I used this product to sight in a Crimson Trace Laser sight on a revolver. It holds the gun while you adjust the sights.

Good for pistol sighting.
Does what it supposed to. But little bit light weight and doesn’t keep the pistol on the aim after a shot even for .22.

Great Boresight
Easy and accurate bore sight to use. Although pricey and made well, you’ll save on ammo which is getting more expensive and hard to find.
