  • A Fun Read

Simon Green has another winner in this series - a unique blend of high adventure with magic. His choice to parody the James Bond series is only a surface one, but he does maintain the sort of tonge-in-cheek humor of British comedy without overdoing it - too much. For me, it was a hard book to put down. Pure escapist fiction with just the right amount of surprise and intrigue to keep you guessing til the end. A great start to what should be a another great series by a talented author with a keen imagination and captivating writing style.
