This has to be one of the heftiest in depth additional content guides ever.
First of all, this book is nearly half as large as the original guide which was truly a monster at over 550 pages. Both of them together are 5 pounds or more. The guide has over 220 pages of content and the most important bit, a detailed analysis of the overall story and lore. Detailed reviews of the items and dialogue, the accompanying story line within it, and even graphed out connections for the different sects in the game. The general Yharnam story line and history, the Hunter's history, the Healing Church, and the Byrgenwerth Scholars are all meticulously pieced together in a sizable and fairly easy to follow lore section near the end of the book. As with the first guide there are your standard room overviews and brief instructions for moving along through the game, a complex weapon guide with stats, scaling and instructions for each weapon, item, and clothing piece. More than that though, this guide breaks down the frame and time duration of each attack and the amount of stamina each uses. To say this these are the most in depth guides I've ever seen is a severe understatement. This team has put together a combined 770+ pages in two guides for a game and a single expansion pack. The artwork within is absolutely phenomenal and the attention to detail to the game is staggering. Must-have for Bloodborne fans
This book which covers the DLC, perfectly wraps up the content started in the first guide. The lore section in the back was great, which covered the plot and history of all the locations and characters and their connections.
