Product Information

Promising young lawyer Kevin Lomax (Keanu Reeves) has never lost a case--even when his client is guilty. When Kevin is seduced away from his sleepy hometown in Florida to work for a flashy, charming lawyer (Al Pacino, in a role he seems born to play), his mother (Judith Ivey) has reservations. But as he works his way up the corporate ladder, Kevin manages to put them aside, along with his wife's (Charlize Theron) needs and the stirrings of his conscience over knowingly defending the guilty. However, his vanity won't let him start losing now. As Kevin's career skyrockets, his neglected wife Mary Ann begins to see evil, violent visions. Hoping a visit from his mother will help, instead Kevin finds himself confronted with a secret his mother has never told him. As Mary Ann seemingly descends into madness, Kevin begins to suspect his boss may be much more than he seems, and he finds himself faced with a choice between saving his own life and saving his soul.

    Devils Advocate

    Excellent movie you have two of the top leading men. Different generations and they were amazing. The leading lady was only 18 when she was in the film. Movie is about a young couple who want to be successful and rich. The young husband is a lawyer in a small town in FL. He is doing very well but longs to further his career. His wife really just wants to have baby and be a stay at home mom. During a horrible sexual abuse case is defending a perverted teacher. He realizes his client is guilty during the trial will he do the right thing? Success is more important after being discovered and offered a job in N.Y. So Kevin and his wife Maryann of course go, but not before his mother warns him. Kevins mother is very religious being a pastors daughter. She warns him of all the evil that goes on ...

    Devil versus Good Ole Boy from Florida

    Classic with Al Pacino as the devil. What a role he plays and he says it. Keanu Reeves has gone to New York supposedly for a job, but Al has more on his mind. Thought provoking movie with plenty of action.

    Pacino!!

    I love to watch Al Pacino chew up the scenery in this picture. Keanu Reeves though 🙄. His vocal delivery is just awful in this movie. The whole thing though is entertaining over all.

    It is a fictional account of a powerful law firm in the City of New York.

    It is an interesting observation on the legal system. Fiction can be truer to life than life itself. Think about that for a moment. Take note of Al Pacino's speech at the end, it all comes down to free will. The question to be asked: Does one allow oneself to be tempted with the illusion of momentary ego driven satisfaction or wise enough to know better? Either road taken provides serious consequences.

    Fantastic TITLE

    Al Pacino Charlize Theron Keanu Reeves a great story had you on your edge of your seat couldn't have been better I watched it 20 times and I'll probably watch it 20 more time just a super video
