Hours of Toddler Entertainment, Trendy, Durable, 10/10 Review
My daughter received her Pretty Party Playset about one month or so ago, and is still absolutely obsessed. She is eighteen months old, and loves it when I ask her to go grab me the "wafer cookie" or the "cupcake with sprinkles" or the "lemonade pitcher." She knows exactly which pieces are which, too, thanks to the singing pink platter! Honestly, I think, as a mom, I like the playset almost as much as she does at this point. When I've had a long day and just need to lay down, I can set up her tea set on the bed and ask her to "pour me some lemonade" and lay back while pretending to drink it, or spend a little while pretending to nibble each of the little pastry pieces. We both love it, and I can really feel her imagination and ability to role-play expanding as we make up new elements for it each day. Also, the pieces are all very durable (she throws them on our wooden floor constantly, and I've never found so much as a scratch) and the colors are bright and pretty.
