"Plug & Play"
Plug & Play replacement switch for my 2014 Craftsman YT3000 mower. My biggest issue was removing the gas tank to get to the back of the old switch to unplug the wiring harness. Unplug the wiring harness, press two snaps holding the old switch in and pop out with a screw driver under the outside face and push old switch out. New switch- plug in wiring harness to it- push switch into alignment slots & ears snap in and your are nearly done. Replace the gas tank and you are ready to crank and mower. Be sure your switch looks like the picture of the part you are purchasing. Some are different than this one. My reason for replacing was starter motor would not turn over-sometimes without turning switch a couple of times, or not turning over at all. I replaced start switch same time as the ignition switch as either could cause this problem. Now cranks like it did when new.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Orignal OEM part simply a 90 second install
Actual OEM part .is exact fit, same as the one put in 15 yrs ago. YOU simply unplug from wiring loom under the cowling from it then compress the two side arms , comes right out you then push in the new self locking key switch from the front then push on your plugin from the loom . Good buy, easy install

Ignition starter switch

Worked fine on Poulan tractor

Fits Husqvarna YTH2246
I took a big chance getting this for our son's lawnmower that worked until my husband broke a key in the ignition. It was a bit scary since the "dealer" couldn't guarantee this would work, but IT DOES. Copper prongs on the back appear to be better than the original metal ones and it doesn't hurt to have an extra key.
