The unit is complete with a 5 inch ultraslim screen with a high resolution 480x272 display. The GPS comes with a USB cable for connection to your computer. Accessories include a suction cup mount for your dashboard and a car power adapter with TMC antenna. The unit has a lithium-ion battery with a 2.5-hour life and a slot for microSD memory cards.     Good unit

    I bought this unit couple months ago for my trip to Europe. I visited few countries: Switzerland, France, Italy. Drove for about 1500 kms. For the most part unit performed ok. Although , in couple instances it could not find location address, but luckily my rental car had built in navigation system. With this unit you have to remember that it looks for your destination address near your current location. If you travelling pretty far you have to tell it near what town it has to look for address. Same goes to travelling in diferrent countries. Let say if you start in one country and your destination in different country it might not find address. You have to manually have to enter town and country of your destination. It will not switch automatically. In general it is pretty good unit if you ...

    Good Screen size and reliable voice prompts

    I bought this used and got it just in time for a Florida trip. It worked very well, even before i had the chance to reset it. The interface is intuitive and easy to use plus it had all my destinations in the available lists. One time it showed an exit that no longer existed, but quickly recalculated and got us there! I subsequently registered with Garmin and updated the software and maps for free. Its a reliable Garmin Unit and I recommend. Make sure you get the LMT model for free lifetime Map updates!

    My first GPS

    We're traveling to Cancun and then driving to Belize City. I needed a GPS to help me navigate unknown territory. I bought the Nuvi from Alex, and it has all the maps I need ... USA. Canada, Mexico, Central America (to get us through Belize), and all of Europe thrown in. Alex's offer for 1 additional free map of our choice was perfect for us ... we chose Australia & NZ for a trip Down Under next year. With all those maps the price was unbeatable. The Nuvi 2555 is easy to use. This is my first GPS, and I like it a lot. When I emailed Alex with a question, he responded immediately. Thanks Alex. as400psa

    Works well

    This Garmin works really well. Had to get the traffic chord to receive traffic information. The off ramp pop up picture is a nice feature.

    replacement for preexisting unit

    This was a replacement for a pre-existing unit. Product replaced when old unit failed, was able to keep all my way points from old unit and add them to the replacement device. Instead of buying new and starting over, by buying this replacement unit I saved alot of time and alot of money with no loss of product quility and reliablity. The old unit failure was caused by a faulty power converter failure cascading into the unit and was not a product failure of the Garmin Nuvi2555lmt.
