Billy Martin- Kansas cowboy Milton Tabor The Topeka Daily Capital Date: October 11, 1931 COWBOYS, STILL RIDING HORSES, CARRY SIX-GUNS Billy Martin stopped his pony at the top of a long ridge. He looked down upon a new hunting camp near the best water hole in the Carl Barr pastures. Knowing that a bunch of city hunters were having the time of their lives, he decided to give them a taste of the Old West. Putting spurs to his “cuttin’ hoss”, he pulled his old .45 Colt and began shooting and “yipping”. Down the hill and into camp he roared. Duke, the colored cook, turned a few shades whiter and beat it for the timber a mile away. The dude hunters suddenly stopped a card game and grabbed their shotguns. They piled out of the tent—and were met with a regular cowboy salute. Everyone dropped his gun and “reached for the sky”. Martin was enjoying the fun, that every old-time cowboy must have occasionally or “bust his chaps”. Since he was 11 years old Old Billy has been riding the Flint Hills range between the Kaw river on the north and Oklahoma on the south. Most of his riding career has been spent in Morris and Chase counties, where he knows every coulee, canyon, lake and gate. Woe unto the stranger who is caught within his fences, without good reason for being without a good reason for being there. He carries a .45 Colt tied to his thigh ready for a quick draw, and he can outshoot, outride and out guess any cattle rustler who ever drove a truck into the Flint Hills looking for cheap beef.

Happy to have found and bought it!
Yellowstone is an excellent series. I had seen the first season and the third season, so getting the second season was a no-brainer. I loved it and am glad I got it ! !

Very entertaining and educational.
I watched the 1st season during movie marathons around Memorial Day and had to have more. The mix between the beauty of the location, the Native American culture, and Luke Grimes in this series got me. As you know "Kayce" was Elliot in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy which I loved.

Yellow stone
Started watching on season 3. Got hooked. Needed to understand what had happened in earlier seasons!! Can't hardly wait for season 4...

Great Series
Second part of a great series that I missed last year. I have not started on this video to date, so I cannot comment on if it even functions properly. I am going to assume that all is well.

Yellowstone season 1 and 2 dvd set
We made it through the first dvd in season 1 without any issues. After that, nothing but trouble. So many places where the dvd would stop playing or just be really messed up. To be new, it’s sure not in “new condition.” I’m hoping to get through the rest with better viewing.

Refreshing and Engaging
If you like Westerns, Dramas, and Love Stories, and the Great Outdoors in general, you will be sure to love Yellowstone. Not recommended for children as is very adult focused. Honestly, they could have done without a lot of scenes and language that is just unnecessary. Still love the series.
