HOWEVER, the stand / base was too large and did not fit the glass globe, which would have fallen off it and got broken with a resulting mess of glass and water all over the floor if I had not secured it with sticky pads. The combination of the glass globe and its stand was not thought through properly. Therefore, I would not recommend this item for that reason.

I got an instant refund from the seller, the communication was 1st Class. I asked if I could order again but get it sent by EVRI, seller complied with no problem and I got it yesterday. It's an awesome piece of kit, as new, packed in it's original box too. Really happy with the purchase and Davids communication was brilliant.
