I decided to give these socks a chance an to my utter amazement not only were these socks over the calf, but they stayed up. The thickness was perfect. No shrinkage either. My husband has trouble with his seams on some socks hurting his toes but not these. If you are leery about trying them don’t hesitate. I will buy again.
