Product Information
A sequel to the popular action series SAIYUKI, SAIYUKI RELOAD follows its predecessor's formula by blending anachronistic action with fantasy elements. Partly based on a 16th century Chinese folktale, SAIYUKI RELOAD follows Buddhist monk Sanzo on his quest to rid the land of Shangri-la from the roaming demons that endanger the populace. Joining Sanzo on his holy mission are three misfits: half-demon Goku, Hakkai the magician, and skilled gambler Gojyo. In this third volume of episodes, the group of heroes begin to learn about the extent to which the demons of the land are willing to go to stop Sanzo.
