SynopsisIn this absorbing and equally inspiring companion volume to his classic trilogy-- The Road Less Traveled, Further Along the Road Less Traveled , and The Road Less Traveled and Beyond --Dr. M. Scott Peck brilliantly probes into the essence of human evil. People who are evil attack others instead of facing their own failures. Peck demonstrates the havoc these people of the lie work in the lives of those around them. He presents, from vivid incidents encountered in his psychiatric practice, examples of evil in everyday life. This book is by turns disturbing, fascinating, and altogether impossible to put down as it offers a strikingly original approach to the age-old problem of human evil.

  • A look into the complex notions of human depravity

Very enlightening content I chose to give this book a high rating because I agree with the spiritual side of the authors ideas, to a point. He could have left out the chapters on exorcism and it would be in my top 10 of all time. Not because of the conclusions he offers concerning the exorcisms, but because of his ideas about who should be present in future exorcisms. 🤔🤔

  • A very important book on the nature of Evil and how to deal with it.

This book by M. Scott Peck is just as insightful as his classic, "The Road Less Traveled". A must for theologians and those who work with prisoners, abusers, thieves, and other miscreants.
