A great vampire movie with Hellboy
this is my favorite of the two animated hellboy movies and maybe my favorite movie in the Hellboy franchise. I like the mixing of lore of both greek and vampiric mythology, plus their homage to the infamous Elizabeth Bathory in one of the villains of the film is great. The acting is great fun on all accounts, especially from Ron Perlmen and John Hurt. The animation has a great style and the storytelling is superb. The special features are also interesting. A particular favorite of mine in the special features is the animated short, Iron Shoes. If you've never seen the movie, I highly recommend seeing it.
