Good fun but could have been better, very minimal extras
2 Disk set contains 6 stories including two related ones about the monks 9who first appeared in Extremis -last episode of series 10 part 1) and a two-part finale featuring not one but two incarnations of the master. The pyramid at the end of the world: At first I thought this one was aiming to check off another diversity category, but in fact that aspect was well managed (character had an obvious difference which was NOT an integral part of the story - quite refreshing to see this normalized rather than sensationalized - and I'd love to see more of that character again. The story itself was OK - a bit overdone on great power interactions, better on the true threat to the world and how the doctor combats it.. The Lie of the land: follows directly from a key event in previous episode and deals with the consequences of choosing the lesser of two evils. Better story than its predecessor, though again the totalitarian society aspects were overdone. Empress of Mars - brings back the ice warriors and adds some Victorian soldiers in a decent stand alone story with an uplifting theme about second chances. The Eaters of Light was my 2nd favorite of the set - nice confounding of historical mystery with advanced alien interlopers. Didn't care for the interactions between Bill and soldiers which added little to plot - thankfully more on English folk. World Enough and Time had the best premise about a very large spaceship encountering a black hole and an interesting side effect. MANY holes in the science behind this one but I could tolerate that and appreciated how the complications were handled. The Doctor Falls had its good moments but I've never been a big fan of John Simm's Master (prefer Missy and versions back in the 70's). I did like how the departure of various characters was developed. Extras were minimal - about 3 minutes of commentary per episode. A bit disappointing there. Navigation was fine and subtitles easy to implement.

Dr Who Series 10 pt 2
its a gift he enjoyed the Dr Who Series can't wait till Christmas for the next series to start. the gift was for a Dr Who fan. thanks quick ship thanks
