Led screw and half nut were out of alignment and required modifications to get them working correctly. (Thank God for youtube) Once everything was fixed the lathe is now operating correctly. I would only recommend buying one of these lathes if you have the ability to fix them.

Manual seemed close to accurate. Cleaned tracks and lubricated tailstock slides. First use of lathe was to remove 3mm from tail stock adjustment wheel as it was jamming against block when fully retracting dead centre. So far all else good. Would like to know if there is an easy way to remove dead centre from holder. No mention of what size tools. 12mm?

The seller’s communication was prompt and politely helpful when I contacted them about delivery. As usually happens with them Aramex leaves much to be desired as a courier however, as they did not update their tracking information. After contact with Aramex they told me they were still waiting on the item from the seller, but then delivered it the next day.
