The list of accomplishments and accolades accumulated by The Eagles is too long to recount, their music having been a staple of American music since the 1970s, and their popularity never waning. With five number-one singles and four number-one albums, two of which are among the best-selling records of all time, the group has helped form the backbone of classic rock; hits like "Desperado," "Hotel California," and "Lyin' Eyes" are instantly recognizable and timeless. After helping to popularize the Southern California rock sound of the '70s, the group--at this point made up of Joe Walsh, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Timothy Schmit--broke up to pursue solo projects, but reunited in 1994 in recognition of the ever-loyal fans who still wanted to see them playing together. This 2004 concert, held in Melbourne, Australia, during The Eagles' monumental farewell tour, was one of the highlights of this historic world event, as one of the most popular American bands of all time says goodbye to its countless adoring fans.

    Just plain Awesome!

    All I can say is Awesome. The best three hours of musical entertainment I've ever seen. No other group of musicians can compare to the Eagles. The brass section were also Awesome. Great price for such great entertainment, very satisfied

    5-Star DVD Because Eagles a 5-Star Band

    This is a five-star product first and foremost because the Eagles are a five-star product: Intelligent material, unforgettable melodies, brilliant story lyrics with every word right in every song, spectacular five-part harmonies, and production values tight as their guitar strings. I also have the Hell Freezes Over DVD, but it drags with too many slow hits early, belatedly playing three fast ones at the end. Farewell 1 Tour has them well dispersed throughout for a balanced show. The disc I bought was good as new because it was, well, new.

    MASTERS of the live concert!!! Second to NONE!!!

    Been a fan since '70's, saw them twice in 1980 just before they split. As great as they were then, they're better in this concert! You know how bands don't sound the same or as good live? The Eagles actually sound BETTER live! You don't have to be an Eagles fan, just love good music...you will be a fan after this, GUARANTEED!

    Eagles.....one of the greatest!!!

    This is a GREAT live concert......doesn't get any better than this!!!! Saw it at a friends house and had to have it, keeps getting better every time I watch it. Get this DVD, you won't be disapointed!!!

    Excellent DVD

    The Eagles sing all of their great hits and also some great songs that I hadn't heard before. I love watching this DVD. They sing the songs as we heard them when they first became popular without changing the words or the melodies as some artists do when they get older. Their voices are still amazing and they play their instruments as well or better than ever. If you like the Eagles, you must have this DVD in your collection.
