One of the Great Doctor-Compaion Pairs
Together, David Tennant and Billie Piper are one of the great Doctor-Companion pairs: he is brilliant as the Doctor -- funny, dramatic when called to be, and overall engaging; she is pretty, vivacious, and capable of showing tender emotions, especially toward the Doctor. In my estimation, Tennant is one of the two truly great modern Doctors, the other being Matt Smith. If you're already a Whovian, you probably don't need persuading to watch Series 2 (but start with Part 1); if you aren't already into timey wimey wibbly wobbly things, then Series 2, Part 1 is a terrific way to start. Very enjoyable
