When I screwed it onto my mic stand, one of the screws was a little loose and I had to tighten it, but other than that it’s perfect. One thing I didn’t know when I bought it is that it would need a mic preamp to boost the gain. Without that you’ll have to turn the volume up much higher on your audio interface, so I highly recommend getting a good preamp to go with it.

Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong part, but they honored the return policy with no questions and refunded my money immediately. Correspondence was professional and courteous. You cannot register the product with Shure. I was going to return it but they're sent from China so I didn't bother dealing with the hassle of time and potential problems. For a fake, the sound quality is pretty decent. More noise is picked up by these as they're not authentic. Build quality is great but sound is not up to par with a genuine product.
