3.48mm - Very light duty - No good for camping
These pegs are very light duty. They are suitable only for use in dry sand with no stones. As soon as you put your foot on them to drive them into moderately hard ground or hit them with a mallet, they bend. Using them under normal conditions is extremely frustrating. They are made of 3.48mm apparently untempered, stainless steel wire. In their favor they are very light at 19g each. I can perhaps adapt some of them to use for groundsheets only, by sawing off 50mm (2") to give them a chance of not bending. Buy cheap, buy twice! The reason the specification is not given is because camping tent pegs need to be 4.5mm min (aluminium or stainless steel) to be effective.

Blew down twice soon after purchase
The assembly process was fairly straight forward but on a moderately windy day in a fairly sheltered position it blew down twice. Damage to the fabric and a few plastic pipes and joints was caused. I have now re-assembled it as best I can but also bought an additional 10 metal pegs to hold the plastic pipes on the floor down. Time will tell if this additional securing of the item will be enough to secure it down on a windy day. Unless you have a very sheltered position I would only recommend purchase if further measures than those supplied are used to fix it as firmly as possible to the ground.

Worked very well as were ordered to peg ...
Worked very well as were ordered to peg down xmas decs on the grass and even with all the strong winds, rain, frost and a bit of snow, all the xmas decs stayed in place and did not blow anywhere. Used to hold down, snowman, rain deer and slay. Would recommend.

Works for me
I used these pegs to hold down the frame of a temporary greenhouse. They fitted around the metal tubing perfectly.
