Having said that, the seller contacted me fairly promptly and explained the situation. I ordered another colour, (black) which was dispatched quickly. The bandana itself is rather stiff, so definitely needed washing & conditioning before wearing. Also, the colour wasn't fast (warm hand wash) so best not put in the machine with lighter colours. A bit disappointing overall, but good seller communication.
