In addition to experiencing growth spurts, several of the teen demigods take significant steps toward understanding their powers, accepting their feelings, trusting each other, and taking responsibility for leadership. Synopsis
At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena , Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy's instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea's forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors from both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape? They have no choice. If the demigods don't succeed, Gaea's armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.

    Great Used Book!

    I had already read the Rick Riordan series and wanted it for my book shelf. These books are normally 20 dollars; but a used copy for just under 4 dollars? A great deal! Came in good condition. But no dusk jacket. But besides that very work the buy!

    Fast paced with interesting characters and mythology lessons.

    My children love this series and everything by Rick Riordon. The book was in new condition and a fraction of the price of new. I enjoy the series as well and like to read along with them.

    The Book was in excellent condition, but was missing its dust jacket. May need to read more carefully when purchasing

    Shipping was great, book was heavily marked on several pages with marker not highlighter but can still make out enough of the word to read

    NOT A HARDBACK

    It says that it's a hardcover but IT IS NOT!! The book IS new so that's good but I got a paperback... if you want a paperback then it's worth the buy but if you're looking for a hardcover copy I don't recommend buying
