    A complete and (relatively) easy to understand grounding in current electronic design and practice

    While I've just begun digging through this book, the authors have a good writing style, the illustrations are clear and well explained, and the contents promise a good grounding in a wide variety of current electronic practices, devices, and usages. Make sure you get the latest edition, and shop around a bit for a good price on a used one.

    Excellent Quality - Must have

    First, the quality of the book itself is excellent. The paper, the printing, all of it is top notch. The lines in the diagrams and typeface are black, thin and clear. I would have paid 100 USD for this if I had it in my hands first. The content is excellent. This is the very first book, and possibly the only book, you need to buy if you are working with electronic circuits. Everything is clear and we'll structured. An absolutely essential reference.

    Excellent electronic reference book with many unusual circuits - great find!

    As an engineer with tons of reference books, I find that this book is a jem due to unusual content and collected rare insight. I first learned about this book from a Youtube video showing how HP came up with making modestly clean sine waves from triangle waves in their earliest function generators. I would consider this book to be a cross between the Encyclopedia of Electronic Circuits series and some of Jim Williams books.

    i am sometimes overwhelmed by such a big book... hard to read in bed, wish maybe it was more compact, but can't complain... watch out for the Fake ones from India...
