    Recondition Garmin NUVI 55 LMT

    The GPS is just as advertised and so far works great. One time maps update in my car is $160 before tax and as I said 1 time. This factory recondition unit has life time updates, 4 times each year and total cost was $93 delivered. Has all the features I use plus my passenger can search for food, gas, or anything else while I am driving where my Ford has to be stopped.

    This is my first GPS unit, I purchased a factory refurbishment.

    Refurbished unit, would not boot past first screen until it was connected to a computer and maps were loaded to it which took about an hour over a high speed connection. A new unit might be ready out of the box as is advertised, but the refirbs may not always be, but otherwise unit is nice.

    does the job well

    great GPS, does the job well - I'm very happy with the Garmin 55LMT - Garmin customer service was very nice & helped me to get the unit going - performs well for me in the New England states (MA, CT, RI, NH, VT) and in NY & NJ - bright & helpful display, the Garmin Voice is loud enough, GPS updates quickly if I make a wrong turn & corrects my route - I highly recommend the Garmin 55LMT thanks
