Product Information

Gamers try go from community intruder to small-town Valentino in this social sim from the makers of the Harvest Moon series. Chulip is a game that casts the player as something of a "kissing bandit," who must win over a whole town full of diverse characters through good deeds, kind attention, and -- if the mood is right -- a quick smooch or two. The game's protagonist is a boy who has just moved to town from the big city. The locals are suspicious, and already making judgments about the boy and his father before they even settle into their new home.<br><br>Taking the role of the boy, there is one local person of special interest to the player: a particular young girl (of course) who steals his heart at first glance. The boy's ultimate goal in Chulip is to win this girl over, so she'll allow him to give her a kiss, beneath an ancient, magical tree -- an action that all but grantees they'll live happily ever after together, according to local legend. Trying to kiss the girl before she's ready will result in a painful rejection, however, and players lose the game if the poor boy suffers too many turn-downs.

    Absolutely in Love with this Game

    This game is honestly one of the best games I've played in a long time. This game appeared in my local video game store and I didn't purchase it. Since that a few months passed, I youtubed the game and became obsessed. This game reminds me of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life meets Chibi Robo meets maybe the quirky-ness of Beautiful Katamari. The concept of the game is so fresh and addicting. You dream about your dream girl, try to kiss her irl, and spend the whole game collecting kisses from villagers and underground residents across three different towns. I won't lie I needed to use a walkthrough for a lot of this game but it doesn't take away from the gameplay for me. The difficulty level is perfect as well some challenges easy and others difficult. My only true negative for this game is ...

    This game is weird, but cool

    If you're reading this and the seller still has more new copies I recommend getting one yourself. It's a tad pricey but good luck finding a physical copy anywhere else cheaper, I do have to mention it's on PSN though.

    A quirky but challenging game.

    Chulip is a pretty interesting game and I'm glad i got my hands on it. It is pretty hard without looking at the manual or a walkthrough though. Other than that I'm glad i finally got the game.
