    I sent the seller a friendly request after buying, asking them to please not ship the book in a thin plastic mailer. My message was sent back to me, the seller never saw it or replied. Ebay said that the seller blocks messages. The Book was in fact shipped in a thin plastic mailer. It arrived okay, but sometimes they don't. Bought another book from a different seller at the same time who replied to my message and who ships his books in boxes. Guess who I'll be a repeat buyer with?

    Beautiful Inspiration!

    Beautiful book from Jean, however mostly inspirational. I would have liked to have seen more techniques or foundational tutorials to get the paint brush going for the reader. Only because at the end of the day, I need to "paint" in order to paint myself calm.:) The book is full of Jean's beautiful art, so having those references are lovely to have at hand.

    Calm creativity

    Jean Haines is well known to watercolor painters. Her approach is to learn through creative experimentation and exploration. This may seem like a waste of time snd resources as these products don’t seem like paintings. BUT as you progress save those ‘practice experiences’ as they will become paints eventually as your experience opens your eyes to mire possibilities. Jean knows a lot and almost all of us need a creative break to appreciate the paint. I recommend this book for all levels.
