Seminal
Punk attitude right out of the blocks with "1969"! Then a hard slap to the groin with "I Wanna Be Your Dog." The slogging dirge of "We Will Fall" at 10:15 puts a screeching halt to my good-time party though, especially since the entire CD only clocks in at 34:35. After one play, I deleted the song from the CD's playlist. Back to cool punk simplicity with "No Fun," "Real Cool Time," "Not Right," and "Little Doll." "Ann" is ethereal and pretty, an odd counterpoint to the album. Bad thing? Nah. If you're unfamiliar with The Stooges, this CD would be a great introduction. Seminal music.
