No more rebuilt for me.
New Hayward tcell works perfect to maintain my pool, not rebuilt cell, a little more expensive than rebuilt, but my original Hayward lasted 10 years with care. last generic rebuilt I bought lasted 3 years. Working with panel that is ten years old.
Hey guys. So I bought this genaraic brad trying to save money. My local pool store said because my control panel was ten years old that new cells may not work. But I sent pictures and emailed. And Pool supply told me it would. So I went for it. I can happily say it works. For how long time will tell but it does have a warranty with it so makes me feel pretty good. Hayward T-CELL-15
Well, let me just say that I'm not sure what say or how to review this... But initially it either did not work or my controller circuit board was bad. I replaced the resister on the board, which was cracked, but the new T-CELL-15 still was generating... Thank goodness that before I forked out another $300 for a new circuit board, I wanted to rule out the possibility of receiving a defective T-CELL-15, so I took the T-CELL-15 to my local Pinch-A-Penny and they did a continuity check on it. Well everything tested ok, so I reinstalled it, turned everything on, and low and behold I first got a red no flow light and then it quickly changed to a green light that it was generating... Go Figure..?? The only explanation I could think of was that when Pinch-A-Penny powered it up on their control box, it must of kick started it... Who know..??Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Right dimensions and works great.
Saved a couple of hundred dollars over buying OEM product from retail pool supply store. The cell is the right dimensions, and no adjustments were necessary. Real cell makes a difference

Definitely stick with Original Equipment.
