This is a great little book, whether you're interested in yoga or just want to improve your breathing and lung power. It's a small book but full of interesting and useful information and practical exercises.
This book comes from the old "New Thought" movement of the early 20th century, a precursor to our New Age stuff. The author of this book, Yogi Ramacharaka" is actually the pen name of William Walker Atkinson, a pioneer of the New Thought movement and author of over 150 books, albeit under several pen names. One thing that comes through in all of Atkinson's books is a certain charisma and sincerity, and a positivity that makes his books fun to read. You feel he really believes what he's preaching, and he really believes he has given you all the information to be successful at it.
You'll find this book, and others by the same author, to be more useful than a lot of more modern books on the same subjects!
