SynopsisThis limited, collector edition hardback, 11x8.5 inch, leatherette, gold foil debossed on the cover and spine (landscape format) of 234 pages in black and white and color photographs, maps, charts, and illustrations. The book includes a table of contents, an index, and a bibliography/further reading. It presents the history of a unique Colorado Springs, Colorado mountaineering club that is celebrating its centenary. Each year, on New Year's Eve, the club climbs the mountain, Pikes Peak, and put on a large fireworks display from the summit. The exhibition is commonly viewed from as far north as Denver, Colorado, and Pueblo, Colorado to the south, and many mountain communities within a hundred miles.
